How to make extra cheesy mac and cheese

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheese
  • 8 ounces Velveeta cheese
  1. Step 1

    You will first need to cook the macaroni according to the directions on the package. Then you will need to drain and rinse with cold water. Set the noodles to the side. You will need a large mixing bowl. You will need to combine the milk, evaporated milk, egg, and butter.

  2. Step 2

    You then will need to cube the Velveeta cheese and stir into the milk mixture. Then you will stir in one and a half cups of the shredded sharp cheese. And then you will stir in your macaroni. Then you will need to get a 3 quart baking dish and add the macaroni and cheese into the baking dish.

  3. Step 3

    I have learned that if you spray the baking dish with non stick cooking spray this will make clean up easier. You will then cover and cook on 275 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until the cheese is all melted. You will need to stir half way through the baking process. At time of serving sprinkle with the remaining sharp cheese.
