Things You'll Need:
- Computer Keyboard
- Lysol or other disinfectant spray
- Vacuum cleaner

Step 1
Keyboard cleaning should always begin with unplugging your keyboard from the computer. This is a precautionary measure meant to help ensure that you don't get a shock when cleaning a keyboard.

Turn your keyboard upside down and give it a good shake to remove any debris that may have managed to find a way under the keys.

Step 3
Spray Lysol or another disinfectant onto a clean rag and wipe down all of the surfaces. This will kill most of the germs and viruses that may be living on your computer keyboard.

Use the hose of a vacuum cleaner to suck out any remaining debris form between the keys. This step is useful for removing any stubborn debris such as hairs that remain stuck in the keyboard. This step also helps to dry any remaining dampness from the Lysol.

Plug your keyboard back into your computer and begin typing!
