How to Make Lucite Jewelry
-
1
Measure a strand of beading wire around either your neck or wrist, depending upon whether you would like to craft a Lucite necklace or bracelet. Add about an inch to the measured length to allow for securing the jewelry clasp, and cut the wire accordingly.
-
2
Thread one end of the beading wire through the ring of the jewelry clasp, loop the thread around to push it through the ring again and use the crimping pliers to crimp the wire to the ring.
-
-
3
Begin stringing the Lucite beads onto the beading wire, and continue doing so until the wire is completely strung.
-
4
Thread the fully beaded wire through the jewelry clasp, loop the thread around to push it through the clasp again, and use the crimping pliers to crimp the wire to the clasp.
-
5
Cut off any excess wire and clasp the necklace or bracelet around your neck or wrist.
