How to Convert X to a DVD Code
The video format "X" (also known as DivX) is a popular streaming and download format used on the Internet. However, there may come a time when you will want to bring the movie via DVD with you while you travel. To do this, the X video must be converted into a DVD code. This can be done by using a converter program such as the Xilisoft DivX to DVD Converter.

Download the converter by following the link provided in the Resources section. Click "Download" and then "Save File" when asked if you would like to save the file.

Double-click the newly downloaded file, which will appear either in a "Downloads" pop-up window or as an icon on the desktop. Click "OK" and then "Run" when asked if you would like to run the program.

Select an installation language, and then follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation. Insert the blank DVD into the DVD drive.

Launch the Xilisoft DivX to DVD Converter and drag the "X" video file into the converter window. Name the file in the "DVD Name" box and click "Burn." The X file will now burn and convert to a DVD code.

Tips & Warnings
If you do not have a DVD burner, you can save the DVD code onto the computer through the destination pull-down menu and select a destination on the hard drive to save it to. The DivX to DVD Converter is free to use for as long as you want; however, it is possible to purchase a version that comes with email support and free updated versions. As of July 2009, it can be purchased for $25.95 from the website provided in the Resources section.
