How to Delete a Pocket PC Internal Memory Program
Because Pocket PC devices generally don't include copious amounts of internal memory, owners of these devices must pick and choose which programs they keep. Whereas modern PCs and laptops allow almost unlimited room for programs, Pocket PCs can reach their storage limit rather quickly if you're not careful about removing programs that you no longer need. The good news is that removing unnecessary or unwanted programs is a relatively easy process.

Tap "Start," tap "Settings," choose the "System" tab and tap the "Remove Programs" icon.

Locate the software you want to remove in the programs list that appears in the "Remove Programs" utility. Use the scroll bar if you don't see the program on the initial screen.

Select the program by tapping it, and then tap the "Remove" button. The utility will completely remove the program from your Pocket PC device.

Remove unwanted programs in an alternate fashion by using ActiveSync. In ActiveSync, click the "Tools" menu selection, click "Add/Remove Programs" and locate the program(s) you want to remove in the list that appears in the utility. Use the scroll bar if you don't see the program on the initial screen.

Click to uncheck the box beside any unwanted programs that appear in the list. Click "OK" to remove the programs.

Use one or both of these removal processes on a regular basis to free up valuable storage space on your Pocket PC device. This is particularly crucial if you constantly install new software but don't use all of the programs on your Pocket PC device.
