How to Download Games for the Zune

If you have a Zune media player you can do more than just download videos and music to your Zune. In fact, there a re a lot of games available that you can download and install to your Zune. While there is no official website for Zune games, there are a few websites that house the majority of the Zune games that are available for download. If you want to download games for the Zune you will find that it is a quick and easy process.

  • Internet access
  1. Step 1

    Open a web browser window on your computer. Go to the Zune Rama website (see Resources).

  2. Step 2

    Click on Games from the navigation bar. This will take you to the Zune Rama games directory. Games are listed in alphabetical order with a short description and a download link. Some games have user reviews and ratings and a demo version. Look where it reads "latest additions" to find the newest games to the directory. Some of the games are free and some you have to pay for. Click on the download link to see if there is a cost for the game you are interested in downloading for the Zune.

  3. Step 3

    Use your web browser to go to the Zune MAX website (see Resources). You can find a list of Zune games you can download on this site including Galactic Wars. Below the list of games are also a couple of applications for download for the Zune.

  4. Step 4

    Go to the Zune Boards website (see Resources) with your web browser. This is a forum for Zune gamers. You will find threads with information and download links for a lot of Zune games in the Download Completed Games sub-forum. Some Zune game developers even post beta versions of their games for download in this forum.

  5. Step 5

    Connect your Zune to your computer. Log into your Zune software and select Settings and then Device and Device Update. Click on Install Games and select the games you have downloaded. Once the installation is complete you will be able to play the games you downloaded for your Zune.
