How to Convert OGG to AVI

The OGG format is a open stream format, created by the Xiph.Org Foundation. This format is mostly used in conjunction with multimedia Internet streaming. However, the format is not widely used by other media players and video editors, making it necessary to convert the OGG to a more widely used format. AVI, or Audio Video Interleave, is designed by Microsoft and is accepted by most video editors and media players, making it a perfect format to convert OGG to.

Instructions

1. Download the AVI Converter by following the link provided in the Resources section. Click "Free Download 3.08 MB" and then "Save File" when asked if you would like to save the file.

2. Double-click the newly download file, which will appear in either a "Downloads" pop-up window or as an icon on the desktop. Click "OK" and then "Run" when asked if you would like to run the program.

3. Click "Next" when the installation wizard loads, and then follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation.

4. Launch the AVI Converter.

5. Drag the OGG files into the converter screen.

6. Click the "Profile" selection and choose the format you want the file to be converted to. In this case, it's "AVI."

7. Click "Encode" and the file will begin to convert.
