Crochet an Exfoliating Scrub

This simple Body Scrub is easy to make and great to use in the shower or bath. You will think you are at a spa. It can be used as a Facial Scrub or Body Scrub. It's great for exfoliating and skin care. The scrub is washable and environmentally friendly too.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sugar and Cream Cotton Yarn
  • Size G Hook
  1. Step 1

    Ch 2. SC 8 in 1st CH

  2. Step 2

    Join with sl st at top of first SC. Ch 40 and sl st in top of same sc. This makes the loop for hanging.

    CH 4 DC in same SC, CH 1, *DC ch 1 DC in next sc ch 1* repeat 7 times. Join w/sl st to top of Ch 4

  3. Step 3

    Ch 4 DC in Ch 1 space, ch 1, *DC, ch 1, dc, in next ch 1 sp* Repeat around. 16 total pair.

  4. Step 4

    Continue to work in this pattern doubling the number of DC pairs in each row. Make 5 total rows. End off.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make several Cotton scrubs
  • Wash them frequently to avoid germs and such
  • Make the scrub larger by adding rows
