  2. Step 2

Click on the "Options", then "Mail Options".

  3. Step 3

    Go to Signature

  4. Step 4

Make sure "Show a signature on all outgoing messages" is selected.

  5. Step 5

Space down about 8 spaces and start typing the signature that you want to use.

  6. Step 6

You can choose the color of your signature text by using the paint brush color selector. You can add a link to any web page you want to. Link to your articles, your affiliate program or to any website you want to.

Your signature will be seen every time you send an email until you change it.

  7. Step 7

To add a link, click the icon to the right of the smiley face. Type in the web address you want people to visit, or you can select some text in your signature and then choose to make the link. Either way it will work.

Save your new Yahoo Classic email signature.

  9. Step 9

Go to Mail and choose Compose email message so you can see how your signature will look. If you don't like it, go back to Mail options and change what you don't like. Be sure to save your new email signature again and test it one more time to see how it will look.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try not to add to much information to your signature. Just add enough that will make someone want to click on your site.
