Things You'll Need:
- Vacuum
- Baking soda
- Soft-bristle brush
- Sticky lint roller
- Duct tape
-
Step 1
Vacuum the floors and seats of your cars as thoroughly as possible.
-
Step 2
Sprinkle baking soda on all seat and carpet surfaces. You can also use carpet cleaner with baking soda. The baking soda helps loosen pet hair by breaking the static charge that helps it stick to the car seats and carpet.
-
Step 3
Work the baking soda into the seats and carpet using a soft-bristle brush.
-
Step 4
Vacuum the baking soda and loosened pet hair from the car seats and carpet.
-
Step 5
Use a sticky lint roller to remove remaining pet hair from the upholstery.
-
Step 6
Remove stubborn hair using strips of extra-sticky duct tape. Press it firmly on the area, then remove the strip. Use a new strip on each section.
