    Tag every thing.
Put a tag on your purse, your backpack, carry on' s etc. Put a business card with your information inside each bag, too.

Make sure you put all tags on your items before you leave home. Using one of the tags they supply at the airport have a very high chance of falling off. If you check in at a airport and are inside your cruise ship cabin and wonder why the ship is moving and you have not received your luggage, you probably have lost luggage. It could be days before you see your stuff if you ever see it again. Plus, think of all the things you have to buy to replace at tourist prices.

  3. Step 3
    Tags for luggage.
    Tags for luggage.

Use a little bit of contact information on your tag. Use just your first initial of your first name and your last name. Put your cell phone number on, phone number of where you will be staying and email address. You do not want someone on the plane that is a creep to know your first name. If you can get a tag that hides your name with a cover all the better.

  4. Step 4

Secure your tags with a metal ring.
These are hard to find. But they will stay on for sure.

  5. Step 5

Put your information inside your luggage, too.
Baggage handlers and machines are hard on your luggage.
