How to Make Easy Cole Slaw
Coleslaw is great to serve as a side with most any meal and is especially delicious with a barbecued steak, burgers, hot dogs or fish. Make easy coleslaw and serve along with a side french fries for a complete meal.

- Bag of prepared shredded cabbage
- bottle of prepared coleslaw dressing
- large bowl
- Plastic container
- wooden mixing spoon

Go to your favorite supermarket. Go to the condiment section where they sell mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup. Buy a small or large bag of prepared chopped cabbage that is ready to be made into coleslaw.

Buy a bottle or jar of prepared coleslaw mix. There are a few brands and some that are lower in calories. Follow the directions on the bottle that tells how much to use when you make coleslaw.

Walk over to the produce department, where they sell lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes and small or larger bags of already prepared shredded cabbage to make the coleslaw. Find the small or large plastic bag that says it is specifically used only to make coleslaw.

Go home and take out a mixing bowl and a wooden mixing spoon. Pour as much as the prepared coleslaw into the bowl, pour an amount of the coleslaw mix needed for that amount of coleslaw. Gently stir using using a fork or spoon. Cover and put in the refrigerator for at least an hour to chill.

Tips & Warnings
Coleslaw always tastes better the next day when the cabbage fully absorbs the creamy mixture. The coleslaw gets softer with a nice taste.
Coleslaw looks different after it sets a while so do not over do the amount of coleslaw mix you add to the cabbage. It liquefies the longer it stands.
