I do not think I am the only person in the world who has come across an ad that says I can make thousands of dollars a month easily, and not been tempted to click and buy the product. The problem is, in most cases, what you are buying is worthless. The first thing I do to avoid an online money making scam is to do a Google search on the product. Chances are someone has already purchased the product and has done a review on a blog or forum somewhere. If you cannot find any positive feedback about the product, you probably should not be interested. If you do find positive feedback, try and make sure it is not just another advertisement for the product by reading that person’s other posts. If they have 100 posts all saying this product is great, it probably isn’t.

Another way to avoid a scam is to check sites like the Better Business Bureau. If enough people report the website as selling a worthless product that in no way, shape, or form did what it was supposed to do, then they may list the product as a scam and to avoid purchasing the product. Be careful, however, because once these products hit sites like this, they may change the name of the product to continue scamming people. If they have a good thing going, it is very easy to just continue changing the name and sucking people in with false hope.

The final way is just remember quote we have all heard at one point in our lives. “TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!” If an ad tells you that all you have to buy is buy a twenty dollar book and you will make thousands a month, chances are that you just lost twenty bucks. If it was so easy to make that much money, how come everyone does not know how to do it? How did this person figure out the magic equation? More often than not, if you want to make money, you have to work to earn it! When it comes down to it, you cannot beat some old-fashioned elbow grease!
