Miniature Labradoodles are mixed dogs; generally a cross between Labrador retriever and Puddle dogs. There are also other mixes involving three types of breeds. You can buy miniature Labradoodles as puppies or as older dogs. These dogs may be hypoallergenic and are good with children. Use these tips to help you find a miniature Labradoodle.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Learn about the Labradoodles personality and needs before getting one for your home. This is especially important if you are getting a puppy. Find out the types of dogs that are mixed to produce different Labradoodle crosses; and choose the one that fits your home style. These are generally small toy dogs that need routine interactions with humans and other dogs.

  2. Step 2

Find a miniature Labradoodle by visiting a local pet breeder. Dog breeders usually advertise on newspapers and on the internet. You can also find dog breeders on the member listings of “Dog Breeding Groups”. Identify two or three breeders to choose your miniature dog.

  3. Step 3

Ensure that the miniature Labradoodle breeder runs a reputable business. Visit the breeder facilities and make sure the dogs are bred in a healthy manner. Inquire about some of the common documents used in dog breeding; such as Health certificates from veterinarians, Pedigree certificates and dog registration.

  4. Step 4

Locate a miniature Labradoodle from pet adoption groups. This dog is a cross mix and it costs money to breed them for sale. However, sometimes dog owners may give Labradoodles up for adoption for different reasons.

Search for dog adoption and rescue groups online and by asking a veterinarian for recommendations. Find out the group’s requirements for a Labradoodle adoption.
