Things You'll Need:
- your hands
-
Step 1
First thing to do is take your hands and rub them together for thirty second or until you feel your palms quite warm.
-
Step 2
Next place one hand over your forehead and the other one across the back of your neck, close your eyes and stay like this for thirty seconds to a minute.
-
Step 3
Then remove your hands and open your eyes and your headache should be leaving soon, because your warm hands relax your face muscles and therefore relieving the pressure that brought on the headache in the first place.

on 9/24/2009 I suffer from chronic headaches (including migraines) and I thought this was a GREAT idea, especially for on-the-go when you probably don't have a heat-pack with you. I like how you mentioned relaxing, bc that is also important in helping a headache go away. Finally, I really appreciate how you specified that it might not help for migraines, but it's worth a shot. I hate seeing articles that say you can get rid of a migraine easily w/o meds (you know what I mean if you've had them, but you were specific. I tried it and this DID help me! Thanks!!
