Instructions

    • 1

Choose either a frame already painted and decorated or a natural wood frame to which you can add your own touch with paint, stickers or a marker. Remember, you can always paint over the wood and remove the stickers.

    • 2

Measure the opening of the frame, adding about 1/2- inch to each side, to determine how big a piece of wire mesh you need. Cut the wire mesh with wire cutters to fit the opening.

    • 3

Turn the frame over and staple the wire mesh across the back. Apply the staples to every corner of a smaller frame, or every 2 to 3 inches of larger frames.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you purchase a hanging frame, screw hooks to the bottom so you can also store bracelets and necklaces. Make two separate frames, one for everyday earrings and another for earrings you wear on special occasions. A wooden earring holder can make a thoughtful present. Attach a new pair of earrings to make it even more special.
