Instructions

    • 1

Get a scene hairdo! Layered locks with side bangs, peek-a-boo dye job or hair extensions are a good place to start.

    • 2

Wear skinny denim jeans and layered retro styled bright colored t-shirts or tanks. Or wear shorts with leggings or fishnets. Lolita dresses are cute too!

    • 3

Wear bracelets with lots of jelly type or the metal stud kind that snap. Also get a metal studded belt. Like the 80's punk rocker style.

    • 4

Wear eyeliner on the bottom and upper eye lids. Keep the eyebrows groomed in a more skinnier approach than bushy. Use lots of juicy type lip glosses.

    • 5

Monroe piercings are also hot for this look if you are of age. However, do not get a piercing just to fit in. Only get one if you desire one, are of age or have your parents permission.

    • 6

Get some lace free slip on tennis shoes or flat dress shoes to wear with your outfits.

    • 7

Carry cute notebooks and gadgets that have little emo like characters, like hello kitty.

    • 8

Wear little hair bows, polka dot ribbon hair bands, cute accessories and big sunglasses.
