How to Install Analysis ToolPak for Excel 2003

The Analysis ToolPak program is an add-in feature available for use with Excel or Microsoft Office. You can load the add-in program into Excel easily. The program adds the data analysis command, which allows you to perform key statistical functions, including Anova (single factor or two factor), moving average, correlation, descriptive statistics, regression, t-Tests and other critical statistical concepts.

Instructions

1. Open any Excel document.

2. Navigate to the "Tools" menu. Click on "Add-Ins."

3. Select the check box next to Analysis ToolPak under "Add-Ins." Click "OK."

4. Click "Yes" to install Analysis ToolPak if you see the message "Analysis ToolPak is not currently installed on your computer." Analysis ToolPak will be installed.

5. Click on "Tools" under the menu bar. Open a new Excel document. You will see that the data analysis command listed, which indicates the program has been added properly.

Tips & Warnings

• The Analysis ToolPak add-in program is available in the 2003, 2007 and 2010 versions of Excel.
