Things You'll Need:
- new bathroom faucet
- slip joint pliers
- wrench
- water supply lines
-
Step 1
Pick out new bathroom faucet. Make sure it will fit in the vanity you already have.
-
Step 2
Close the water valves under your bathroom sink. Turn on the faucet to check to see if the water is indeed off and there is no water in the drains. Turn it back to off.
-
Step 3
Next take off the old water lines by taking off the compression nut that holds the water tube to the valve.
-
Step 4
Next take off drain line and trap using slip joint pliers.
-
Step 5
Now look under the vanity for the retaining nuts on the faucet. Unscrew them with a wrench. This will make the faucet come off from on top of the vanity.
-
Step 6
Next put on the new supply lines and the new bathroom faucet on top of the vanity. Screw into place underneath the vanity.
-
Step 7
Last, reattach the water lines to the valves and turn on the faucets checking for any leaks.
