Things You'll Need:

  • Dried flowers
  • Scents
  • Baskets
  1. Step 1

Make your own potpourri with dried flowers. To do this you will have to use the method of hanging the flower upside down and then place it into a container after adding a cinnamon stick for added scent. You can also use other scents such as concentrated oil. Keep the container sealed for five days and then remove the petals from the container and stem, and place them into a basket for potpourri.

  2. Step 2

Place the dried flowers in wreaths. When creating wreaths as decorations for the Christmas or Thanksgiving holiday you can put some dried flowers into the wreath to add decoration and color.

  3. Step 3

Add dried flowers to sprays. These are usually used for funerals, and if you choose to make your own then you can add dried flowers to the spray. It can sit on a stand or lay across the coffin.

  4. Step 4

Create a bouquet of dried flowers. You can create your own bouquet of flowers either for a wedding or for decoration. These can be less expensive than ordering fresh flowers from a flower shop.

  5. Step 5

Place clusters of dried flowers in baskets in your house. You can place them on a table in your living room and dining room to add an elegance to each room for a long period of time.
