How to Use Finasteride

Check the pamphlet included with the prescription you receive from your doctor that includes information about the medication and the potential side effects that can accompany the product.

Take a single Finasteride capsule each day, then take a single dose each day at the same time either with or without food.

Avoid skipping a dose of Finasteride, but if you do, do not take an extra tablet.

Finish the entire prescription, then continue the next month's prescription immediately after completing the last one.

Store Finasteride in a dry, cool environment to ensure effectiveness.
Do not administer Finasteride to male children, as it can inhibit proper growth of the prostate. Women should not take Finasteride. Do not touch Finasteride if you are a pregnant woman, as it can cause improper growth of a male fetus.
