How to Play Boxers or Briefs
Boxers or Briefs is an incredibly entertaining board game for adults. Contrary to what the name implies, this Hasbro game has absolutely nothing to do with underwear. It does have everything to do with having a good time by blending a wacky combination of truth and humor. A game of Boxers or Briefs will add an element of fun to any party or get-together.

1
Gather together everyone who will play Boxers or Briefs. The game calls for 4 to 10 players. Boxers or Briefs is just as much fun to watch as it is to play, so don't worry if you have more than 10 people in attendance.
-
2
Decide how many points someone must get before being declared the winner. Boxers or Briefs is played until someone reaches this number. Most games are played until someone reaches 6 to 10 points. This allows a game to last roughly an hour, depending on how many people are playing.

3
Deal an equal number of cards to everyone. Boxers or Briefs comes with a set of game cards. Each card contains six quirky statements. Each could be either funny or true, depending on the circumstances. After dealing everyone the same number of cards, set any extra cards to the side. The specific number of cards each player hold varies depending on how many people are playing and is generally not an important factor.
-
4
Select the player who will go first. Boxers or Briefs does not have any specific method for determining who goes first. Anyone that all players agree to let go first is fine. After this, the order of play will rotate clockwise around the Boxers or Briefs game board.
-
5
Roll the die. The Boxers or Briefs game is governed by the rolling of a six-sided die. Each side of the die has the start of a phrase, such as "I like" or "I hate." The player rolls the die to randomly select which type of phrase will be used on his turn.
-
6
Receive cards from other players. After the die has been rolled, the other players review the cards in their hands, reading the line that best corresponds to the die. Each player will pick a card with a statement that either is funny or is true about the person who rolled the die. Each player adds one card to a stack in front of the one who rolled the die.
-
7
Read the cards. The player who rolled the die picks up the stack of cards and reads aloud the appropriate line on each card in a tone as if every card is absolutely true. For example, if the die lands on the side that says "I like", the player will read the "I like" line from each card. Select one card as the winner for being the truth and another as the winner for being the funniest. The players who submitted those cards win one token each.
-
8
Move on to the next player. Moving clockwise around the board, the next player will roll the six-sided die and take a turn reading cards. This will continue until one player has received enough game tokens to win the game, as identified in Step 2.

Tips & Warnings
Be prepared for an unexpected outbreak of crazy antics. Some cards contain phrases that are absolute nonsense or are downright embarrassing, and you will have no choice but to read the card as if it were true.
