How to Replace Bosch Platinum Spark Plugs
Bosch platinum spark plugs are considered "high performance" plugs. The platinum tip offers improved spark over stock or factory plugs, resulting in a cleaner burn inside the engine's combustion chamber. Over time, the plug tips will begin to wear down. This is normal, and you will notice a decrease in engine performance when this happens. After you've driven your vehicle 50,000, you should check and replace your Bosch platinum spark plugs.
Things You'll Need

Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the spark plug wires. Normally, these will be black or blue wires running along the top or sides of your engine with what looks like a rubber stopper running into the valve cover on the top of the engine.

2
Pull the spark plug wire off on the far right side of the engine. Only pull one spark plug wire off at a time when changing the spark plugs.

3
Attach the socket wrench extension and spark plug puller socket extension to the socket wrench and drop the spark plug puller into the top of the valve cover until you feel the top of the spark plug.
-
4
Turn the wrench counterclockwise to remove the spark plug and pull it out of the engine.
-
5
Pull the spark plug out of the spark puller and insert a new Bosch platinum tip spark plug.
