Marinol is a medical marijuana pill administered for the treatment of wasting disease involved with HIV/AIDS disease, as well as for nausea and vomiting experienced by chemotherapy patients. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active ingredient in the drug, is known for relieving vomiting and nausea. Marinol is the only FDA-approved synthetic canniboid medication currently in existence, and is often marketed as a viable and legal alternative to marijuana. It is available by prescription only.

  1. Step 1
