Ever wonder what people are saying from far away? Ever wonder what your boss is saying in his office on the phone?

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ears and Eyes
  1. Step 1

Try watching your television on mute at first. Se how many sentences or words you can pick up from just watching the persons lips as they speak. You will probably notice that this is not the easiest thing to do at first.

  2. Step 2

You can also put on closed captioning on the bottom of your television at first and just try to figure out what the person is saying with their lips and body language and use the closed captioning to see if you were correct.

  3. Step 3

You can also mouth words, or complete sentences to yourself in the mirror to get used to the recognition of certain words. This is just a few pointers as there are so many different techniques I have used to learn to read peoples lips.
