How to Play Flash Games
A Flash game is a plug-in based video game created using Adobe Flash software (formerly Macromedia Flash) that is played online. It is different from other online games in that if you do not already have the plug-in, Flash, installed, it prompts you to download and install it before being able to play the game.

Locate a site that offers flash games. You can do this by performing an online search. For example, enter "flash games" (with or without the quotations) into a search engine.

Review the list of search results and pick a web site. We will use flash-games.net for our example. Click the search result to load the page.

Pick a game that interests you. On this site, they have a top 10 list of games and a game called Jewel Quest is top game, so we will play Jewel Quest.

Click on the title of the game. If you do not have the Adobe Flash plug-in installed, the page will load with a blank or shadowed out area where the game is suppose to be. Follow the prompts in your browser to download and install the plug-in.

Restart your browser, if you have not already been prompted you to. Locate the site again and follow the links to the game. If your plug-in has installed properly you will now be able to play.

Tips & Warnings
Exercise caution when at online game sites. If a site asks you to download strange files, exit out immediately; they could be viruses.
