Download and install the "Office Password Recovery Pro" utility. This can be used to unlock and crack Excel passwords.You can get a 30 day trial of the tool at Tucows.com.

Run the password recovery tool. Click the "Open" button in the top left corner and navigate to the location of the protected Excel file and select it.

Select the option "Recover the password to open" and click "OK" in the wizard that follows.

Click the "Next" button in the following two dialog boxes. Then click "Finish."

The password is recovered and displayed after the system cracks it using the built-in schemes. This might take some time depending on the password. The passwords for the individual worksheets in your Excel workbook are also recovered and displayed.
