How To Cleanse Your Colon With Coffee
Colon cleansing refers to getting colonics at a clinic or hospital or using enemas at home to place water or coffee into the large intestine. Doing this creates additional bowel movements and thoroughly cleanses the colon.
As an alternative medical practice, some people use coffee to encourage the liver to produce bile. All forms of colon cleansing are designed to move waste out of the colon so it does not remain "in storage" and create toxicity in the body.
Cleansing colon might relieve occasional constipation, speed weight loss and improve digestion and absorption of nutrients from food.
Colon cleansing is non-habit forming and can be done at home.

1
Reduce your consumption of animal protein, including meat, poultry, eggs and dairy, before the colon cleanse. Also reduce consumption of fried foods and foods with refined sugar. Doing this will make the cleanse easier to complete.
-
2
Brew up to 12 cups of coffee in a coffee maker or use a coffee press by adding two tablespoons of ground organic coffee for each cup of coffee desired.
Use filtered or distilled water.
Allow coffee to cool. -
-
3
Clean enema bag with filtered water and up to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
Run clean water through the bag and tubing several times before using. -
4
Fill the enema bag with one part coffee and two parts filtered or distilled water.
Use olive oil or another food-grade oil to moisten the tip of the enema before inserting into the anus.
Empty the contents of the bag slowly.
Sit on the toilet and pass the waste. -
5
Repeat the enemas for up to six or seven rounds. That is the equivalent of a professional colonic provided at a clinic.
Be certain to clean the enema bag and tubing between each round.
After the final round, use one tablespoon bleach or hydrogen peroxide and water to clean the enema bag and tubing before storing for the next use.

Tips & Warnings
Different types of coffee are said to help cleanse and stimulate different internal organs in the body. For example, Colombian coffee is good for cleansing the stomach and heart, and Mexican coffee is good for the pineal gland, writes Carrie L'Esperance in "The Ancient Cookfire." Eat live yogurt with cultures such as acidophilus bacillus or probiotics containing the same live cultures. This will feed the beneficial bacteria in the gut.
If you have a family medical history of diverticulosis, colon cancer, irritable bowel or leaky gut syndrome, see your doctor before doing a coffee colon cleanse. If you are pregnant or have a history of eating disorders, also consult your physician.
