There are many uses for images both online and off, but if the images are not your own, you should use royalty free images. One thing to remember is that you need to know how to use royalty free images so that you do not violate any requirements set forth by the owners or the website offering royalty free images. If you are confused as to how to use these images, read these steps to see just what you can do with an image.

Step 1

Use the royalty free image for any application as many times as you want. You will have unlimited use of the image.
Step 2

Alter the image in any way that you want. You can combine images, manipulate or crop the images in any way that suits your needs.
Step 3

Use the low-resolution images free, but if you need high-resolution images, you need to pay for these images even if it is a copy of the royalty free image.
Step 4

Use the contributor's name or the site name where you obtained the royalty free image to give credit for the image.
Step 5

Use of the image for immoral or unlawful purposes is not allowed. You cannot use the images as your own logo or trademark. Selling the images as your own is not allowed.

If you need an image for a logo or to sell, you can contact the image holder and ask for an image that they have or maybe they could take a photo for you for a fee.
