How to Make Organizers for School Desk
A school desk organizer can be a decorative way to keep all your supplies in place. Desk organizers are easy to make and help to recycle by using cardboard containers you usually would throw away. With just a few other simple items, you can make your own organizer for a school desk in just a few minutes.
Things You'll Need
- Empty cereal box Tacky glue Four small, empty cardboard containers (such as a jewelry box) Two empty toilet paper tubes Wrapping paper Scissors Craft knife Spray adhesive Pencil/marker

Glue shut the cereal box; close it as if you were resealing the box.

Cut a piece of decorative wrapping paper to fit around the cereal box. Place the wrapping paper flat on the table, floor or other hard surface with the decorative side down.

Spray the cereal box with adhesive and place it in the center of the wrapping paper, then wrap the box as you would a gift.

Cut a piece of decorative wrapping paper to fit each cardboard container and toilet paper tube. Spray adhesive onto the cardboard containers and toilet paper tubes, then wrap the paper around each piece.

Place the empty card board containers and toilet tubes onto the top of the cereal box in any arrangement you like. Trace around the bottom of each piece onto the cereal box using a pencil or marker. Cut out the shapes from the box using a craft knife.

Insert the cardboard containers and toilet paper tubes into their proper spaces in the box. Fill the desk organizer with markers, pens, pencils, scissors, rulers and more.
