How to Convert Filemaker Pro to MySQL

      Launch FmPro Migrator on your computer. Drag and drop the FileMaker Pro file into FmPro Migrator.

      Click the "Get Fieldsize" button. FmPro Migrator will assess the needed field size for each field name when you do this. Click the "Refresh" button, which features the blue arrow in a circular shape, until you see the "Get Fieldsize" area reads "Completed."

      Create the MySQL table by pressing "Create Table." The table is created using the "Fieldsize" information. Once the table has been created, the button will read "Completed."

      Convert to MySQL by clicking "Transfer Data." The button will read "In Progress" while the file is converted. Once the conversion is complete, it will read "Completed." Look for the MySQL file in the same directory as the original FileMaker Pro file.
