Step 1
Maneuver your way through each level, defeating the bosses of each area. Collect bananas, banana coins and golden bananas to help you along your quest. You can trade in some items for other quest items. Some also can be collected to give you special abilities.

Step 2
Make your way from DK Isle to Jungle Japes. Play the levels of Jungle Japes to get to Angry Aztec. After Angry Aztec you'll swing, jump, climb, run and swim your way to the Frantic Factory. Survive the factory and you're on your way to Gloomy Galleon. Slap on a smile amidst all of the gloominess and make your way to the Fungi Forest. From the forest you'll visit the Crystal Caves, Creepy Castle, Hideout Helm and Kong Isles, until you reach The Grand Finale.

Step 3
After taking the final key to K. Lumsy, and setting him free, the evil King K. Rool will emerge from his tower on a sort of flying craft. K. Lumsy goes after him, tripping over a rock and knocking K. Rool out of the sky. K. Rool falls to a ship, and you must jump in to begin the final boss battle of the game.

Step 4
Use all five Kong family characters to defeat King K. Rool in the final boss battle of the game. As Donkey Kong, hit K. Rool 4 times by shooting yourself out of barrels at him.

Step 5
As Diddy Kong, Avoid K. Rool rushes by jumping out of his way until a Diddy barrel appears. Fly up and shoot the lights off the target with your guns. Shoot at the lights on each target.

Step 6
As Lanky Kong, avoid K. Rool until four switches appear. Press the B button to turn the switches on. Barrels will appear and you must grab them with the B button to throw them.

Step 7
As Tiny Kong, use the pony tail twirl to avoid K. Rool's shockwaves. When K. Rool starts to cry in pain, jump in the barrel that appears and do a back flip out and run to the hole in K. Rool's shoe. Watch for attacking toes as you try to tickle him with your feather bow. When K. Rool raises his left toe, shoot it to leave his shoe.

Step 8
Be patient as K. Rool becomes invisible and wait for a blue switch to appear. Use Chunky Kong to flip the switch and then become invisible. Make K. Rool visible again. Jump inside the barrel that just appeared and "simian slam" him four times. After the fourth time, use Funky Kong to shoot him and knock him off your island.
