Want to give a unique gift that you can make at home easily? Personalized stamps with photos are quick gifts that you can make online. There are several websites that offer services for making your own custom stamps with photos that can be used as real postage. Present this special personalized gift to friends and family to mark special occasions including births, weddings, or milestones in life.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A computer with an Internet connection
  • Photos in digital format (.jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .png, .pct, .psd), less than 5 MB in size
  • A credit or debit card to make payment
  1. Step 1

Use a photo in one of the digital formats specified in Things You'll Need to make your own personalized stamp. Read the image specifications on the website to ensure your image meets the resolution and format criteria.

You cannot use copyrighted pictures or photos over which you do not have complete rights. Your image will not be accepted by a photo stamps vendor if it does not meet their terms of service. Make sure to read the terms and conditions on the vendor website before placing your personalized postage stamp order.

Open the website of the vendor you want to order your custom postage stamps from. Start the process of creating you own photo stamps by finding the appropriate link on the homepage of the website.

  3. Step 3

Upload your desired photo to be created as photo postage. Some websites allow you to create an image gallery where you can upload pictures to save and use later to create more photo stamps.

  4. Step 4

Choose from the formatting options available on the website to customize your photo stamp. Most websites allow you to adjust different settings such as zoom, drag image, color, image rotation, and borders.

  5. Step 5

Choose the amount of postage you want on your photo stamp. The default option is 0.42 cents.

  6. Step 6

Complete the checkout process. Like regular stamps, photo stamps are sold by sheets and the number of photo stamps on a sheet varies by vendor. Choose the number of sheets you want and make the necessary payment.

All websites ask you to create an account so that they can save your shipping and billing information. Create your account and place the order for your own photo stamps.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use promotional codes or coupons, if you have any, during the checkout process.
  • Zoomed in photos look best as photo stamps.
  • Select a high quality image so that your photo stamps look good.
