Instructions

Using this method I have made old dirty leather seats look showroom clean. The first step is to order up a good leather cleaner and conditioner / protectant. I also recommend purchasing two good micro fiber rags. These will last for a long time and get the maximum cleaner capability out of them.

After getting these products we want to grab one of the rags and apply a generous amount of cleaner to the rag and start wiping down the leather seats. I use a circular pattern while cleaning to help remove all the dirt from the different grains of the leather. If you get a tough stain pour some cleaner directly on the stain and let it soak for a minute or two before scrubbing it up. Now we need to let the seats dry for about 15 minutes.

Now it is important to add some conditioner / protectant to our leather seats. Using your second rag pour a generous amount of conditioner on it. Wipe this across all the leather seats in the same pattern as we did with the cleaner. After this is all done let it dry and we are all set to enjoy showroom clean leather again.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sometimes after the cleaner dries I notice more dirt so I hit it with cleaner a second time before adding the protectant.

  • Doing this every 6 months maximizes the wear of your leather seats.
