The Alphabet in Bubble Letters

There are lots of reasons you might need the alphabet in bubble letters. Maybe you are making signs or doing a school project. Whatever the case, it is really easy to print the alphabet in bubble letters.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start out by looking through your fonts. If you have one that looks pretty good, you can use that. If not, you might have to go to the internet and find a font. Be aware that free font sites often contain viruses. You can usually buy collections of 1000’s of fonts for really cheap. These should contain several versions of the alphabet in bubble letters.

  2. Step 2

Once you have decided on a font, type out the alphabet into your word processor. In most cases you will want to make the letters bold so they make better bubble letters.

  3. Step 3

Next, format the font to be an outline. In word, you do this by selecting the text and going to the format>font menu and selecting the option for ‘outline’.

  4. Step 4

Make the letters as big as you need them. If you need them to be a whole sheet, you may need to change your page settings to reduce the margins.

  5. Step 5

Print the alphabet in bubble letters, or whatever text you need, on colored paper. Construction paper cut to 8.5” x 11” works well. Cut them out and glue them onto your project.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you print the alphabet in bubble letters in color, you will use a lot of ink. It’s better to print onto already colored paper. If you have a lot to print and you don’t have colored paper, it might be wise to consider a printing service.
