Things You'll Need:
- Soap Water
-
Step 1
Remove the liner from the shoe by first unlatching the taut rubber material at the open end of the heel. This creates some slack and it's necessary before you can proceed.
-
Step 2
Hold your thumb firmly against the circular rivet at the back of the shoe. Slowly but firmly peel the fleece away from the rivet. You will need to do this twice for there are two rivets on each Croc. This may seem like a strain or that the liner will not give, but if you are mindful of the process, the liner will detach. Once this has been done, simply pull the fleece liner out of the shoe.
-
Step 3
Wash the lining by hand with a gentle fabric cleaner such as Woolite. You can also machine-wash on the gentle or delicate cycle. Use only cold water. Do not put the lining in the dryer, but lay it flat to dry.
-
Step 4
Clean the exterior of the shoe with soap and water and some elbow grease.
-
Step 5
When dry, place the liner on your hand like a mitten and nudge it back into place in the shoe. Line up the rivets with the slots on the liner and make sure they are fastened securely. Roll the heel portion of the liner back over the shoe to ensure everything is once again taut and secure.
