How to Reinstall a Client for Microsoft Networks

Client for Microsoft Networks is the component of Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 that allows client computers on a network to connect to Small Business Server. Small Business Server is a server software application designed for use by small businesses. Small Business Server provides tools such as Internet connectivity, remote file access, file and printer sharing, and email services. If you have removed it, you can reinstall Client for Microsoft Networks through the Small Business Server Control Panel.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button, then click the "Control Panel" icon on the Start menu. This opens the Control Panel window.

2. Double-click the "Network Connections" icon in the Control Panel window. This opens the Network Connections window.

3. Right-click the icon for your server's internal network connection, then click the "Properties" link in the context menu. This opens the Properties window.

4. Click the "Install" button in the Properties window, click the "Client" button, then click the "Add" button. This opens the Add window.

5. Click "Client for Microsoft Networks" in the Add window, then click the "OK" button. This reinstalls the component.

6. Click the "OK" button to close the open windows. Restart the computer to complete the process.
