Erasing your internet history can protect your privacy and your children from websites that you don't want them to visit. If you Erase Internet History frequently, you can also speed up your computer by removing un-necessary files.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    To erase internet history in Internet explorer, open your internet explorer browser. Click Tools -> Options -> Internet Options -> General.

  2. Step 2

    Click "Delete Files" then click "Ok." Click "Delete Cookies" then click "OK". Click "Clear History" then click "Yes". This will erase internet history that is on your computer.

  3. Step 3

    To erase internet history from Mozilla Firefox browser, Select the "Tools" menu.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Options," then "Privacy." Click "Clear All" to erase internet history from your Mozilla Firefox browser.

  5. Step 5

    You will need to clear internet history in each browser that you use on your computer. Each browser has its own specific place that it stores internet history. If you clear internet history on Internet Explorer you will still have history on your Mozilla Firefox browser if you use it.
