The Walt Disney World Resort offers many world-class amenities. While all offer clean rooms, friendly staff and colorful themes, the deluxe category hotels have more to offer. People who pay to stay at these premier hotels get better views, larger rooms and fitness centers. Several of the fitness centers on Disney property also feature world-class spas.

      Stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel during your visit to Walt Disney World. Only those staying at a Disney World hotel can work out at a Walt Disney World Resort fitness center.

      Find out if the hotel at which you are staying offers a fitness center. If your hotel does not offer a fitness center, the front desk of the hotel will be able to tell you the closest hotel with a health club. If your hotel doesn't offer a fitness center, it will cost $12 a day to use a center at another hotel.

      Check in at the fitness center's front desk. Most gyms are open 24 hours a day, but require special permission to be used after the staff leaves for the night. Each center's hours vary, but the front desk personnel at each hotel will be able to provide specific hours.

      Rent a locker to store your belongings. Along with lockers, the health club's amenities also include free towels and shower facilities.

      Work out on the provided equipment. Walt Disney World's fitness centers offer the latest in fitness training. This includes free weights and machines to help work all the parts of the body.

Tips & Warnings

  • The workout facilities are for guests over the age of 14 only. Guests between the ages of 14 and 17 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

  • Though staff is available during certain hours, work out at your own risk.
