Things You'll Need:
- Black braiding cord Dark green braiding cord Brown braiding cord Scissors Craft board Push pins
-
Step 1
Cut three strands of braiding cord, one of each color, about one foot long.
-
Step 2
Even up the ends of the strand and tie them all together in a knot at one end, leaving about 1/2 inch for tying on the bracelet.
-
Step 3
Pin each cord to the craft board directly below the tied knot using the push pins.
-
Step 4
Begin braiding the three strands together. Cross the left strand over the center strand, and then cross the right strand over those two strands. Repeat this process to continue braiding the cords.
-
Step 5
Remove the braided cord from the craft board when it is about 5 inches long. Wrap it around your wrist to see if it is long enough yet. If it is not, continue braiding. If it is too long, simply undo the braided cord a bit.
-
Step 6
Tie a knot in the three strands of cord when you have braided it to the desired length. Trim off the excess cord with scissors, leaving about 1/2 inch to tie the bracelet with, and you have created an infantry cord bracelet ready to be tied to your wrist.
