Eurax is a topical lotion used for the treatment of scabies and pruritic skin conditions. The scabies mite burrows deep into the skin and lays eggs that infest the epidermis. Within a few weeks, severe itching and pimple-like blisters develop on the skin. In some cases, the itching is so severe it keeps sufferers awake all night long. Eurax works by destroying the scabies mite.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Take a regular bath or shower and pat skin dry completely.

  2. Step 2

Shake the Eurax lotion tube before use.

  3. Step 3

Rub the Eurax cream all over your skin from the chin down. Avoid the genital area. Pay particular attention to any skin folds and underneath your finger nails, which are especially inviting hiding places for the scabies mite. For pruritic skin conditions: Simply massage into skin regularly as needed. For both conditions, allow lotion to absorb deep into your skin.

  4. Step 4

Reapply in the same manner 24 hours following your first application.

  5. Step 5

Wash off the cream with a body cleanser 48 hours after the second application.

Tips & Warnings
  • Change sheets and bedding regularly while using Eurax. One 60-gram tube of Eurax is sufficient for two applications.
  • Discontinue use and consult a doctor if you develop any severe irritation or reaction to Eurax. Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing. Do not place around the eye area or inside the mouth.
