Things You'll Need:
- Video Game Console
- Internet
- 1-4 hours a day(Part Time)
- Up to 10 hours(Full Time)
-
Step 1
Know what games you like to play. Game developers are looking for someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to a certain game type such as and FPS, or an RPG. They want someone who can maneuver in a game and find glitches and loopholes in the game. Online gaming helps develop this skill.
-
Step 2
Get in contact with game developers. This may be hard to do but there are many game developers out there looking for people to test their games for them, online and in the real world.
-
Step 3
Be prepared to play video games for countless hours. The job has very flexible hours but can be set up to allow for a lot of gaming
-
Step 4
Becoming a video game tester takes some work but once you have accomplished it, you will see how great it can be. That is why the last step is to enjoy yourself! We only have one life to live so make the best of it and do what YOU want to do.
