Starting your day with complete and balanced meal could help you maintain your energy levels throughout the day. Quinoa is a grain like seed that is packed with protein and other essential vitamins. Here is a way of making a nutritious high protein breakfast using Quinoa.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup of cooked Quinoa
  • 1/2 cup of Oatmeal
  • 1 apple
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon
  1. Step 1

    Take about one cup of already cooked and cooled quinoa and add it to a pot. Quinoa is very easy to make. Check the resources section for specific steps on preparing Quinoa.

  2. Step 2

    Now add half a cup of your favorite Oatmeal, sliced apples and a dash of cinnamon powder to the pot with the already cooked Quinoa. Add three cups of water to the pot and begin to cook in a low heat setting for twenty minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Allow the high protein breakfast to cool before serving. To give a sweet taste add some drops of honey or additional fruit of your choice and enjoy!
