Things You'll Need:
- 2 pounds peanuts Raw or roasted. Shelled and pealed
- 2 tablespoons salt (to your own taste)
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 2 tablespoons sesame past (sesame tahini
-
Step 1
Oil a baking pan or cookie sheet with vegetable oil or peanut oil. Bake the peanuts at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Still every 5 minutes. They should turn nice golden brown.
-
Step 2
Put the nuts in a blender or food processor. Add wheat germ, salt as desired and sesame tahini paste. Blend until smooth. If you want crunchy peanut butter you can add finely chopped nuts to the blended nuts.
-
Step 3
This should be enough for about a dozen sandwiches. It is hard to get used to natural peanut butter for some who are used to heavily sugared store bought peanut butter. You can add sugar if you want, but try it without first. You can also make the peanut butter with raw unroasted peanuts.
