Things You'll Need:
- A good sweeper
- Patience
- Frontline Plus for ALL pets
-
Step 1
Go to your local veterinarian and request Frontline Plus to get rid of fleas and stop a flea infestation in its tracks. Frontline Plus MUST be used on all pets that you have. The veterinarian will prescribe the proper dosage amounts for each cat or dog that you have. The dosage to get rid of fleas on your cat or dog will depend on the animal and weight of it. You must get Frontline Plus because it will not only get rid of fleas but it will take care of a flea infestation problem because it kills flea eggs on your pet (cat or dog) also.
-
Step 2
After purchasing the Frontline Plus to get rid of fleas, follow the instructions given to apply the anti flea infestation medication to all pets (cat or dog). Within a few days you will notice less fleas inside the home. The Frontline Plus works very quickly after applying in getting rid of fleas and flea infestation problems.
-
Step 3
Vacuum as much as you can. Running a vacuum will help get rid of fleas and flea infestations by sucking up the pests that are in cracks, carpeting, and furniture cushions. Running the vacuum will also trigger eggs to hatch by the vibrations; thus, speeding up the task of getting rid of a flea infestation.
-
Step 4
After vacuuming, remove the bag or cup of the sweeper and dump the debris either in the woods if you have access or somewhere away from the house. The fleas will be able to get out of the vacuum if you do not do this and all that cleaning would end up being a waste of time trying to get rid of fleas and the flea infestation.
-
Step 5
Just be patient. The Frontline Plus on pets (cat or dog) will work quickly. The pet will act as a "trap" and when fleas bite the animal, it will die. Depending on how severe the flea infestation is, the satisfactory results should be given in a week or two at the most.
