Things You'll Need:
- Bisquick
- Milk
- eggs
- water
- oil
- Sticks
-
Step 1
Do not use frozen hot dogsGet some hot dogs together. Make sure that they completely thawed out or they will not cook properly.
-
Step 2
Use pancake batter or another form of dough you wishMix up some bisquick like you were making pancakes. Make sure there are no lumps and use an egg if the mix calls for it.
-
Step 3
Pot with oilFill a pot about half way with oil so that it will not boil over the rim. Make sure you have enough oil so that the hot dog can be completely submerged in it.
-
Step 4
Hot dogs scewered on sticksTake your hot dogs and put them on a stick. Popsicle or scewer sticks work great.
-
Step 5
Let the oil come to a boil on the stove. Dip your hot dog in the batter. Let the excess run off and then submerge it in the oil. Turn it around until the batter fluffs and turns a nice golden brown. Then remove it.
-
Step 6
Place it on a plate with a paper towel and then continue the process until you have cooked all the dogs.
