How to unlock Siemens SX66 cell phone PPC in one minute. I know, I did it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • bluetooth software on laptop
  • unlock software
  1. Step 1

In this wonderful world of electronics where cell phones are becoming a dime a dozen, isn't it nice to know there is still a product out there that works really well. The Siemens SX66 not just a cell phone it is referred to as a PPC (Pocket Personal Computer). The irony is this is the first cell phone I have ever seen that actually acts like a pc. Now that you have bought or received one and have discovered that OH MY, this stupid thing is locked to Cingular. What a drag, your with T-Mobile. No worries, this is how to unlock it, Now rather than tell you info you CANT use I will walk you through EXACTLY steps

  2. Step 2

They say all you need is a cable you don't have and software you can't find. Sweet and simple, no cables. If your like me you have bluetooth on your laptop and your PPC talks to it for back up. I have my PPC on autopilot on the synch software. I lay it beside my laptop, bring my outlook file up to date in my laptop (which coincidentally the PPC software comes with Outlook to put in your PC.). Download XDADEV_ALL_UNLOCK-v1.1 and sve the file in your bluetooth exchange folder.

  3. Step 3

Most people say to save it somewhere, I say SAVE IT THERE. Now synch your PPC file transfer service with your PC and THAT file will be located right in front of you. Copy the file to your PPC. Once moved, go to documents in your PPC and go to that file. tap on that file. A window will come up saying you are unlocked. Tap OK. Close out all screens. Guess I forgot to tell you no IMEI or nuttin. Good luck.
