Having trouble getting rid of chipmunks and small annoying rodents ruining your garden? Well here is are a few easy tricks to get rid of them for good or, just temporarily. Then your lawn will be rodent free and beautiful for good!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bucket of water
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • wooden plank
  1. Step 1

    Fill a medium or large bucket full of water. (size depends on how many rodents you want to get rid of.)

  2. Step 2

    pour the sunflower seeds into the water, so they float and cover the top of the water. should be one single layer of seeds.

  3. Step 3

    Put the wooden plank against the bucket so it can act as a ramp, so the chipmunks and small rodents can get in and fall and will be trapped.

  4. Step 4

    Rodents will fall in and drown. Once so many drown, pour the rodents out either in a dug out hole you can bury or somewhere where no bigger animals will be attracted to them. Problem solved!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you don't want to kill the rodents, you can use alternative ways to get rid of them. You can spread bloodmeal around your yard, put cayenne pepper around rodent holes, and also put mothballs around holes.
