Things You'll Need:
- Access to a home improvement store
- conversations with their friends, and family
-
Step 1
Determine the gardener’s needs by visiting them. Observe their yard and garden. Ask them about specific garden gloves, garden decoration, and tools. Discuss their garden; take notes of their likes and dislikes. Ask them if they have any upcoming plans or designs for their garden. This will allow you to select a gift that will coordinate with their garden plans.
-
Step 2
Talk to the gardeners friends, parents, or spouse, they will be able to assist you with gift ideas.
-
Step 3
Ask your friend if they would like to go to the garden center, tell them that you would like them to help you pick out plants for your yard. While you are shopping, ask your friend questions. Watch them closely and you will determine their likes and dislikes. This will enable you to select the perfect gift.
-
Step 4
Look at the store circulars for upcoming sales in the garden center. Select the Christmas gift wisely. If the gardener has everything, then give a gift card from their favorite garden center. This will allow the gardener to purchase exactly what they need or to apply the gift card to their wish list.
