Salads are one of the healthiest choices you can make to eat when you have lunch or dinner. They are generally low in calories and are filled with fiber. This salad also has spicy chicken in it which adds good lean protein. You can make a delicious chicken salad in just a few easy steps.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chicken
  • Lettuce
  • Vegetables
  1. Step 1

    Cook the chicken. You want to start with bondless, skinless chicken breasts. Spread ground cayenne pepper powder or any other form of hot sauce on the chicken. Cook for 45 minutes to an hour on 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Step 2

    While the chicken is cooking you want to prepare the lettuce and other vegetables for the salad. Put some lettuce into a bowl and wash and prepare the other vegetables. Now add the vegetables to the lettuce.

  3. Step 3

    Take the chicken out of the oven. Slice it and add pieces of it to the salad. You want to make sure the chicken is in bite size pieces so that it is easier to eat.

  4. Step 4

    Add salad dressing and other toppings. You want to use low fat or fat free salad dressing to keep it healthy. Also you can add croutons and salad topping mix to spice up the salad even more.
